Skater Graffiti Tags

I had noticed a new graffiti tag on my way home. There were a couple of these all in a centralized area. I am thinking it is a skater tag because some skate rats have made a series of ramps at the abandoned cold storage facility on University.

I have seen some groups of skater there using the ramps and the concert barriers to practice tricks. They will occasional bring a skater chick with them or be taking photos or filming each other.

Of course, there are a million other graffiti works, but this seemed a bit too much like a stencil because all of them looked similar.

Graffiti Girl in Tremont

I think that when you are exposed to something every day, you start to miss the beauty of it, or you stop thinking of it as unique. Every morning on my walk to work, I pass two cement cylinders that are tagged with these faces.

I have posted other graffiti images that I have seen around Tremont. However, I had been much more aware of this particular piece and never posted a photograph of it.

It almost seems to me that this isn't really graffiti. The work is so extensive that is it should be considered an art installation.

Graffiti on the Tremont Pedestrian Walk

In my neighborhood, there is a walkway that spans US490 and bridges two parts of Tremont. I really like this graffiti because it seems more like art.

This particular graffiti reminds me of the drawing with the heart that I had mentioned earlier in my blog. The overall style of the drawing feels similar. However, there are enough difference that I think that this is a different artist or an earlier version of the same series of people that are around the neighborhood.

Graffiti With A Heart

As I was walking to work this morning, I noticed the walls along the industrial roadways were covered with graffiti tags. I am not a huge fan of the random tags on the wall, but occasionally I will see something that resembles art.

I passed this graffiti that was hidden in a doorway of an abandoned storage facility. It reminds me of some other graffiti that I had seen at the top of University drive.

I had passed by a sign guy sign, but the photo didn't come out that well. Maybe on my walk tomorrow, I can get a better exposure of it.
