Tom Rides Edison's Bike

Tom Rides Edison's Bike

While my friends and I were out in Tremont, Tom noticed this bike outside of Edison's pub.

It is true that Edison once filmed his friend doing bike tricks.

Granted, I didn't have any video and my friend didn't pedal anywhere, but it was still a great moment.

Young Adam and Tom Square Off

Young Adam and Tom Square Off

It is harder than you think to be cool in Cleveland. There is a lot of competition out there, and sometimes it gets ugly.

On Friday night, Young Adam and Tom were squaring off to see who is the most cool. Sometimes the world of popularity gets ugly.

One good thing about this picture, I discovered that my camera had a High ISO setting so I could take better photos in the dark.

Young Adam and Tom Toast

Young Adam and Tom Toast

He's back. Yes, Young Adam strikes again. While we were having a drink of wine the other night, he and Tom were being a bit silly.

OK, I decided to toast everyone for absolutely no reason other than we were all hanging out in Tremont and done with work for the day.

I guess they decided to take the silliness a bit further. I was lucky enough to get my cell phone out to capture the moment.

Tom and Chewbacca

Tom and Chewbacca

Tom has appeared on my blog a few previous times. I took this during a wine trip in December, but hadn't had time to post it. I love this photo, so I didn't want it to get lost in my digital archive.

Nothing better than Chewbacca in a bandana. Enjoy!

The Man With The Plan

Yesterday, I had the privilege of going on a hard hart tour of a new water park that is going to be opening this month. The preview of Maui Sands Resort was great. We got to see all of the cool behind-the-scenes action including under the water park floor in the pump room.

When they said it was a hard hat tour, they were not kidding. My boss, Tom was very intent on learning every detail about the resort. In this photograph, he looks like the Man with The Plan.

On a different note, it is hard to pull off a hard hat, Hawaiian lei and a suit, but I think Tom does it quite nicely. Aloha!

A Brown's Fan is in Heaven

A Brown's Fan is in Heaven

While I was on a wine tour in Madison, OH, we visited Laurello Winery. We had the good fortune to meet Larry Laurello, the owner of the vineyard. He took us on a tour of his bus that he uses to tailgate at Cleveland Browns games.

Tom was tring out the setup inside the bus. Notice the floor - it looks like a football field. It was unbelievable.

Cheese Glorious Cheese

Fried Swiss Cheese sign from Festival Vendor

It is summertime, and in Cleveland that means festivals. Local church festivals, beer festivals, food festivals and cultural festivals.

This weekend I was at the Irish Festival. Instead of getting some good Irish fare, I decided to have a corn dog. While I was standing in line, I noticed this sign. It immediately reminded me of Tom. His love of cheese is absolutely unparalleled.

As a matter of fact, he had been extolling the virtues of the cheese on a stick he had at a church festival the previous week.

Oh Glory Day!

Another Edison Bike Rider

Sadie on Edison Bike at Chicago History Museum

While I was visiting friends in Chicago, we visited the Chicago History Museum. While we were there, my friend's daughter, Sadie, climb aboard the Edison Bike.

The moment totally reminded me of an early post of my boss, Tom, riding the same type of Edison bike outside of the bar Edison's in Cleveland.

The museum was great and had some fabulous exhibitions. The Chic Chicago exhibit showing couture dresses of prominent Chicago women was pretty incredible as well.

Utz Carolonia Style Bar-B-Q chips

So the photo isn't really a great shot. However, it is not an uninspired photo. These potato chips ROCK! I mentioned them to my co-worker Jason, of Eurohawk fame. He brought back several bags of them from his vacation in the Outer Banks.

Now, my devoted passion to Utz Carolina Style Bar-B-Q chips was almost unbelievable. However, when Jason and my boss Tom tried them, they completely agreed with my assessment. I have been trying not to eat them all morning. Needless to say, I haven't been that successful in my attempts.

Thank goodness I can't take them to meetings.
