Young Adam Rocks Yet Again

Young Adam Rocks Yet Again

You might be thinking, where oh where has Young Adam gone?

It has been awhile since he has made an appearance on the blog. Dec. 5th as a matter of fact. Sometimes, even the rock stars need a break.

At any rate - after a long session of entering content at the office, the crew headed to the Map room for a couple of beers and some yummy pizza. Young Adam must have been pumped, because he had on the full barrage of grooves.

Young Adam Has Green Ears

Young Adam Has Green Ears

If you have been following my blog, you might ask yourself - Does Young Adam do anything other than try to get into my blog?

Well, he does work, but I think he might work harder to get into my blog. It is hard to not to include his antics because they make for good photos.

This photo was taken at the Web Association Holiday Party. One of the local vendors was handing out these lime green stress balls, and Adam definitely made the most of them.

Christmas Movie and a Christmas Ale

Christmas Movie and a Christmas Ale

In order to make the most of the holiday season, some friends and I decided to get together to watch a Christmas movie and drink some Great Lakes Christmas Ale.

Yes, the movie was good, but the Christmas Ale totally rocked. Nothing makes me get more into the holiday season then having a good time and hiding out from the cold Cleveland weather.

I took this photo with just the ambient light in the room and no flash. Of course Young Adam moved a little bit and is out of focus, but he tried his best to stay still.

Young Adam and Tom Square Off

Young Adam and Tom Square Off

It is harder than you think to be cool in Cleveland. There is a lot of competition out there, and sometimes it gets ugly.

On Friday night, Young Adam and Tom were squaring off to see who is the most cool. Sometimes the world of popularity gets ugly.

One good thing about this picture, I discovered that my camera had a High ISO setting so I could take better photos in the dark.

Young Adam Rocks Again

Young Adam Rocks Again

It hasn't been long since Young Adam was no the blog, but I thought this photo merited another post.

At least when we were out on Friday night, he didn't feel the need to play an air guitar. Although he did have onlookers, it wasn't the same as his first rock out.

Young Adam Goes Incognito

Young Adam Goes Incognito

It is tough looking like Jude Law. When you are trying to enjoy a nice lunch in the sunshine with friends, you have to do something to try to stay off of the radar. Right?

Well, maybe that wasn't it. Maybe Young Adam just forgot his sunglasses and had to borrow mine. They look a little bit Elton John, but he can definitely pull of the retro look.

Young Adam and Tom Toast

Young Adam and Tom Toast

He's back. Yes, Young Adam strikes again. While we were having a drink of wine the other night, he and Tom were being a bit silly.

OK, I decided to toast everyone for absolutely no reason other than we were all hanging out in Tremont and done with work for the day.

I guess they decided to take the silliness a bit further. I was lucky enough to get my cell phone out to capture the moment.

Rock This Way

Rock This Way

While I was at lunch with Young Adam today, we were walking past the Hard Rock Cafe when I spied this poster.

Yes, it is a cool poster. Howevever, it was even more relevant because my nickname is the Rock . . or sometimes just Rock.

See the humor in the situation. I knew you did. I might just have to go back and try to procure the sign for my office door.

Young Adam Calculates Love

Young Adam Calculates Love

As most of you who read this blog know, I have been walking to work. As the days get shorter, I occasionally get a ride home when I am leaving the office when it is dark.

On this particular day, my friend, Young Adam volunteered to give me a lift. Yes, we did stop at the Map Room for a quick draft. However, on this evening, I convinced Young Adam to stop at the Tremont Tap House so we could finish our conversation about how he calculates if he wants to date a girl. We had moved beyond the basic scale of 1 - 10 to Love Calculus and this photo captures the beginning of a 6 step process for evaluation. Of course - Step 2 is really an average of 3 steps, so you can see it is very complex - as love can be.

Ironically, the girls we both simultaneously rated were not nearly as high scoring as we thought they would be when we started. I guess in relationships, sometimes a person you thought was great - isn't all that!

Young Adam Strikes a Pose

Young Adam Strikes a Pose

From time to time, I have taken photos of Young Adam for my blog.

He is always a willing photography subject. In this particular case, I snapped a more candid picture (sort of) of him standing in the corner of my office while we were conferring with a co-worker at Optiem.

We had been talking about the trend to more casual fashions around the office during the weekdays, and ironically, he was sort of striking a nice pose after that conversation.

That is right, it is always serious matters at work. Actually, I think it is the random 5 minutes social breaks that keeps me and our hard working team sane!

White Trash Adam Jams

White Trash Adam JamsSome times the quality of a photograph is not the most important thing. It is the need to capture an event, an important or whimsical moment in time.

This picture of Young Adam (or White Trash Adam) is just that type of picture. After an impromptu margarita party at the office last night, my co-workers and I headed to the Map Room.

As I am writing this post, I am also reminded of another random weeknight when Young Adam was jamming. I think the upcoming holiday has folks at the Optiem offices getting a little zany.

Young Adam and Old Joe

Young Adam and Old JoeOk - so Joe isn't old, but I liked the synchronicity of the two terms. Some of you might have seen Young Adam before this post. However, Joe is making his first appearance at Enthusiastic Noise.

Joe Kubic is the CEO of both Adcom Communications and Optiem. He was a great sport about posing with Young Adam.

It is a little shocking how closely the two are dressed. I guess this type of thing happens when you are snappy dresser.

Good thing Joe wore pleated pants to work, or you might not be able to tell the difference between the two.

White Trash Only - No More

Apparently, my rousing post about the Trash Only receptacle in the parking lot at the rear of our office building has finally reached the right people.

As my co-worker, Young Adam, and I were walking back to the office after a Web Association meeting, I had noticed that the white trash was removed from the garbage can. It lead Young Adam and I to ask "What happened to the Trash Only rule?"

I guess it is now an equal opportunity receptacle.

It was great timing because I was just talking with Adam about how I have been collecting my plastic bags to put in the 'keep the warehouse district clean from pet poo' container very close to here.

Sir Dale Comic Strip

Sometimes, the most interesting photos are not really of any specific person or object. The photo is taken to capture a piece of art. Today, my co-worker drew a comic strip of Dale, the guy I am dating, and his two dogs.

It fascinates me that Young Adam has not only given him the name Sir Dale Edmund Fitzgerald Rockingham, Earl of Tremont, but he has immortalized him in a comic strip he has penned under the name Lisa Zandy.
