Cleveland Coffee Cops

Cleveland Coffee Cops

They are back. The coffee cops are back on the sidewalk. Ironically, there was a huge group of people hovering around the front door of the building have a post-lunch smoke.

I don't know how smokers can stand the cold.

Coffee Cop at Civilization

Coffee Cop at CivilizationI have taken a few pictures of police officers having coffee outside of the Starbucks near my office (lovingly known as coffee cops). As I was walking to work today, I was thinking that I hadn't posted a photo in a couple days.

Low and behold, a coffee cop in my neighborhood. He was sitting outside of Civilization where I go for my coffee on my walk to work. Yet again, I had to take a picture with my mobile phone, but I really like the police cruiser in the foreground.

I wish I would have had more nerve to take a closer picture because he was smoking a cigarette as well. I think this is one of the glories of living in a neighborhood like Tremont. I bet the people in the 'burbs didn't see their beat cop smoking a cigarette at the local coffee house this morning.

The Coffee Cops

The Coffee CopsOK - the quality of this picture is seriously NOT good. However, I think that it is kind of ironic. As I was driving to work today, I was thinking about the Coffee Cop photo I had shot outside of the Starbucks.

Well, I haven't really seen any cops outside of Starbucks drinking coffee in awhile. I did see an armed security guard, but that doesn't count.

As I was walking toward the building today, low and behold, there were 4 cops outside of Starbucks. I had to use my phone to shoot the photo and do it from further away. Cops don't like you to sneak up and take pictures, so I had to be covert.

I played with my phone a little bit after I took the picture because I think they heard the camera sound from my phone. Yikes, a near escape.
