At the Northern border of my neighborhood, there is a new shopping center called Steelyard Commons. The shopping center was once the site of a steel mill. Although that mill is gone, there are still other mills operating in the valley.
The area has been leveled except for a few remnants from the time when the mill was working. The photograph shows one of the remaining items from the steel yard. I love the shape of the rail house. The overall shape actually serves as an influence for the facades of the shops in Steelyard Commons.
