There are often mornings when I am walking, that I see the city skyline at sunrise. Since it is winter, my walks are often cloaked in darkness. As the days begin to get longer in the new year, I have the treat of watching the morning sunlight reflect off of the high rise office buildings in the city.
It is true, Cleveland doesn't get that many days of sun. Clear mornings are even more rare. However, when the skies are clear, the brilliant light hitting the buildings and bouncing off of the lake seem to illuminate the city. It is on mornings like these, when the pink sunrise shows its brilliance in the morning sky, that keep me going through the cold, snowy winter days.
