In Tremont, it might not be the best description to say the Church on the corner, or even the Church on the corner of Lincoln Park. My neighborhood is littered with churches. I can see 6 churches from my front porch.As with the other churches in the neighborhood, all of them has some type of lighting to show of their building. Our Lady of Mercy is no exception.
I think the yellowish tint to this lighting makes the statue of Mary look very etheral. It lends a reverence to this scene on the front door of the church.
